Organizations like Jerry Falwell's religious right groups and college, or people like Ted Cruz, these people who want so badly to stop others from having liberty, keep preaching liberty or naming their groups with "liberty" in it.

(180 posts)at Liberty U., Falwell would say this place is to the Right as Harvard "is to the Left." (Which sounds like a disingenuous comparison. ) and there are "no 'Socialists' here." In the same student orientation speech, he would joke in a deadpan fashion that the punishment for a male student walking into a girl's dorm building was to "shoot 'em".
I wonder if Jerry Falwell was the type of Conservative that would express his contempt for the Soviet Union, but was secretly envious of it's police state.
The name of his school seemed like it was meant for his ministry that helped people recover from alcoholism, but for some reason was misapplied to a place where he obliged religious parents with an authoritarian status quo.
