But I find no humor in the fact that these monsters are directly responsible for thousands of deaths, just to gain more wealth and power through oil.

7. Either it's "hilarious", meaning funny, or it isn't...

It especially galls me that they will get away with this evil atrocity. At least, here on earth. Hopefully there really is a hereafter, where some will be judged for their evil.
The word, "hilarious" just really hit me the wrong way, knowing the huge number who died and those maimed for life, mentally and physically. For what?
Yet we still glorify war and soldiers. But then deny them the benefits promised for their service. It is all so damned sick and hypocritical.

I have a younger brother who was in the army infantry in Nam, '68-'69. He came back, but I still lost him, as he will never be the same, mentally. He's an alcoholic and drug addict, is constantly in fights and goes into frequent rages. He never got the treatment he needed, when he returned. Instead, he was ignored and put on regular duty, after a short stint in a mental hospital.

Before Nam, he was a sweet, shy, gentle soul, who came back an angry zombie, for all intents and purposes.

So if I find your jest about those two fuckers, distasteful, this is just one of many reasons why.
