(18,470 posts)Donny deserves our deepest contempt for his part in the Iraq war.

(37,158 posts)"10 years ago began the half-assed neoconservative joyride that I and the administration I was part of lied, arm-twisted, obfuscated, threatened, bribed, and cajoled enough of the right people that we could go ahead with. We salute all of our servicemen and women who died or were wounded in our effort to indulge our sunshine-and-lollipops vision of remaking the Middle East. And mercy!, who ever said anything about WMDs?

(12,541 posts)Bush cartel, Rummy is a war profiteer from a war of aggression he promoted. Thus, he and the rest of the cartel are war criminals. Blindfolds and cigarettes are in order.

(28,252 posts)....in which Constable Bob (beautifully played by Patton Oswalt), after getting viciously beaten by a mob hit-man, manages to terminate said hit-man with extreme prejudice. Take-away line afterward: "People underestimate Bobby at their peril." Don't underestimate Patton Oswalt, Rummy.....

The back and forth between Tim and Colt was just brilliant.
I don't watch many things on TV. Justified is must see. So well done.
I was so happy to see Patton on there - he's done a great job.

(43,174 posts)Funny, I recently was watching the documentary "The Fog of War", which was about Robert MacNamera, the Secretary of Defense under JFK and Johnson and a key figure in the lead up to the Vietnam war. In the film, MacNamera expresses some regret for playing a part in getting us into an unnecessary war.
What is interesting is that MacNamera bore a very strong physical resemblence to Donald Rumsfeld. However, I doubt we'd ever see any type of mea culpa from Rummy, ever.
