Final Update: Apparently this was a hoax 911 call, according to a spokesperson from the local sheriff's office. See the link below:

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials say a middle school in New Prague has been placed on lockdown Wednesday morning, and early reports suggest there may have been a shooting.

Few details were immediately available, but an ambulance staging area was reportedly being set up at New Prague Middle School.

Update: According to the same source, no students have been harmed and everyone is safe. Looks like this was a threat situation, but no shooting has occurred.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials say a middle school in New Prague was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning after someone called 911 from inside the building with a report of a shooting.

The office assistance at New Prague Middle School says that police are saying no such shooting appears to have happened, though the lockdown is still underway.
