Anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist wants a camera in every classroom in America, an idea that may raise an eyebrow at first but one that also might be a good point.

“I think that it makes sense to put a television camera in the back of every state college and university course,” said Norquist, founder and president of Americans For Tax Reform, in an interview with the conservative student website Campus Reform.

He claimed professors would show up on time -- he supposed lateness is a problem -- and speak more clearly, which is a totally legitimate point if memory serves. The plan has benefits for viewers too, he said, adding that taxpayers should have free access to the courses and institutions their tax dollars fund.

"Also for people who do silly courses, I'd like them on TV, on YouTube," Norquist added, noting that these have value beyond their quirky titles. ...................(more)

1. I highly doubt this is some tool to improve our kids' educations

Nothing that comes from that shithead is for the better good of mankind. It's for monitoring the teachers and professors to make sure they aren't teaching our kids anything anti-capitalism or stating any opinions that might be counter to the propaganda that the conservative corporatists want disseminated.

Not to mention, that is a great use of funds Instead of funding higher education so more people could afford to send their kids to college, let's use that money to install cameras and monitoring systems in all of the classrooms of all the colleges and even public schools.

When can that disgusting man disappear and go the way of irrelevance like Sarah Palin.
