Carmei Tzur settlement's newest neighborhood to be named "Rock of Jonathan" after convicted spy Some 2,000 people stage support rally for Pollard outside President's Residence in Jerusalem "The ball is still in the air," says wife Esther Pollard.
A new neighborhood to be established in the Carmei Tzur settlement near Jerusalem will be named after convicted spy Jonathan Pollard, the Gush Etzion Council announced Wednesday. The Tzur Yonatan ("Rock of Jonathan"
neighborhood will initially contain caravans.
The council held the groundbreaking ceremony at the precise time at which Air Force One, carrying President Barack Obama and other U.S. administration officials, landed at Ben-Gurion International Airport.
"We are all part of the battle to free Jonathan and bring him to Israel. We hold weekly prayer services for him and we've decided that now, when President Obama is visiting, is the time to speak out and urge him to let Jonathan come home," Davidi Perl, head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, said.

Also mentioned in the same article above (but which I had to use a separate article to excerpt):
Ariel University Students Protest Obama Exclusion
Dozens of students from Ariel University in Samaria (Shomron) made the journey to Jerusalem on Tuesday to protest outside the American consulate. The students protested their exclusion from United States President Barack Obamas planned speech in Jerusalem later this week.
Obamas staff invited students from every other Israeli university, but left students from Ariel off the list.
The students put up signs saying, Students from Ariel. We are not invisible. We will not be ignored.

Ariel University is the only Israeli university east of the 1949 armistice line. The school is located in the Ariel settlement bloc, an area that it has been assumed in past diplomatic talks will remain a part of Israel under any agreement with the Palestinian Authority.
