I received an email from the American Family Association..

Titled "Urgent prayer alert: marriage at risk at Supreme Court", and reminding me that the SCOTUS will be considering DOMA and prop 8 on March 26th. I'm posting this by way of spreading (a perfect word in this case) the alert about this group and this message. I can't even begin to parse out the BS in this email. Anyway, here it is, in part.

"The Supreme Court will soon decide whether God-ordained marriage will continue to be the standard in America. The stakes for our nation's moral understanding of sexuality, marriage and family could not be higher.

"God has defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman, and Jesus affirmed God's definition of marriage in Matthew 19. Because Jesus himself defined this institution with words from his own lips, natural marriage is clearly a part of the gospel we are to proclaim and defend.

"We know from Scripture, common sense and research that homosexual behavior is immoral, unnatural and unhealthy. We should not normalize this behavior by enshrining it in our marriage laws.

"We know from Scripture, common sense and social research that the optimal nurturing environment for young children is in a home where they are raised by a mom and a dad."

Cain went into the Land of Nod, east of Eden, where he found a wife.

Who was already there, exclusive of the Creation myth, I guess.

Me,at 10 years old to Sunday school teacher,in 1963:

What are multitudes?....A:Large numbers.In this case,people.

Me:Adam,Eve,Cain,Abel. The only 4 people in the whole world.Where did multitudes come from?

My parents were asked to keep me out of Sunday school....

Although I do trash most of them without reading. The title intrigued me on this one.
