Judd Hints at Senate Bid


After weeks of denying that she may run for the U.S. Senate, Ashley Judd publicly hinted she could run against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in 2014, the AP reports.

Judd noted in a speech that she didn't like to be criticized, adding that it's ironic since she was "about to get $40 million worth of it."

She also said her mother, Naomi Judd, "can't wait to turn her garage into a campaign headquarters."

The Third Way types are trying to get an anti-Judd into the Dem primary and I thought that there was the possibility that it would scare Ashley off. Apparently not.

She's going to have to defuse the God, gunz, and gays attacks though by focusing on economic populist issues. Hopefully, she's heard of Huey Long.

"hints". And, that her Mom would support her.. some of us were wondering about that.

From what I've read.. Ashley has said she will announce in May if she's going to run.
