A simple fact: we have no control over other people's actions...
When someone is shot and robbed, we generally don't ask what THEY did to invite such an attack, and frankly it doesn't matter, whether its a guy where a top hat, a gold pocket watch and a monocle, or a woman wearing a bunch of jewelry.
Same goes for every other crime with a victim, we don't say that people "invited" burglars into their homes because they forgot to close the blinds in the living room and as a result "show off" their new HDTV.
For some reason, rape is the exception, I don't understand this, unless you can read minds, or have a remote with powers to control others, you are never responsible for other people's actions.
The responsibility lies with those who actually make the the decisions to commit crime. Their motives, their intent, their actions are theirs alone. This seems so simple, why is it so hard for people to understand.
