And why do they always bring up the example of Israel when they are trying to make their "more guns" arguments?

Fact is........ Israel has far fewer guns in private hands than the US (only about 1 in 30 Israeli citizens owns a gun). You need to be LICENSED to get a gun in Israel and you have to renew that license annually. And they severely limit who can own a gun on a "need to have" basis!

you know another thing RW Israel supporters rarely mention is that they also have government run universal health care. I say they rarely mention it because Romney actually bragged on their system while decrying such a system for the US.
