Why aren't more people talking about how to raise the rest of the country up to postal benefit standards, rather than lowering the USPS to the public's pitiful level?

Bless the postal employees having to go through this. GOP just can't stand success, especially if it involves a union.

As I said, they are way active, just not on this one. It struck me as interesting given the support the Central Labor council gave to Occupy.

It is far more telling of class divisions, that are very real mind you. (Which were also at e heart of the divisions within the local occupy)

I have been working on a labor work, and things like this are interesting dynamics...shoot, I just slip into sociology I guess.

Solidarity.

And literally just doing my job trying to educate people

Some stories are of obvious national importance (this) others are, but not obvious, this week's CPUC decision on energy generation in San Diego. Between state targets for green generation and challenges by the commissioners, it could be a trend setter nation wide.

It is fun to go from purely local stories to national stories.
