Komen for the Cure, we want to clarify that the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is not affiliated in any way with Komen. You can read Dr. Love's statement in response to the recent news about Komen ending Planned Parenthood's funding here.

Komen has posted statements on its website that dismiss links between the common chemical bisphenol A (BPA) and breast cancer, even while funding research that explores that possible connection.
