Today on The 700 Club, Pat Robertson commended the National Park Service for keeping a statue of Jesus in a Montana park, despite a challenge from the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Isnt it a strange thing that we would allow somebody who doesnt believe in anything to restrict the freedom of those who do, he said -- which is ironic since Robertson on a routine basis advocates actual restrictions on religious freedoms for Muslim-Americans. Robertsons American Center for Law and Justice, for instance, sued to prevent the construction of the Park 51 Islamic Community Center.
Later, Robertsons cohost Kristi Watts mockingly asked that since the Wicca religion believes in the environment and believes that trees are there God, then why are these atheists not saying we should cut down every tree because its offensive?

At first, I found this a little funny because it was so insane, and then I remembered Pat Robertson had Bush on speed dial.

Give me that old time religion
Give me that old time religion
It's good enough for me.
We will pray with Aphrodite,
We will pray with Aphrodite,
She wears that see-through nightie,
And it's good enough for me.
We will pray with Zarathustra,
We'll pray just like we use ta,
I'm a Zarathustra booster,
And it's good enough for me.
We will pray with those Egyptians,
Build pyramids to put our crypts in,
Cover subways with inscriptions,
And it's good enough for me.
We will pray with those old druids,
They drink fermented fluids,
Waltzing naked though the woo-ids,
And it's good enough for me.
We do dances to bring water,
Prepare animals for slaughter,
Sacrifice our sons and daughters,
And it's good enough for me.
I'll arise at early morning,
When my Lord gives me the warning,
That the solar age is dawning,
And it's good enough for me.
