Chair Of Hispanic Caucus: Shame On Rep. Don Young
Rep. Ruben Hinojosa (D-TX) slammed Rep. Don Young (R-AK) on Friday for his recent remarks about hiring "wetbacks" at his father's ranch.
"Shame on Rep. Don Young," Hinojosa said in statement. "It is deeply disheartening that in 2013 we are forced to have a discussion about a member of Congress using such hateful words and racial slurs."

Boehner: Youngs Comments Offensive, Beneath The Dignity Of His Office
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) offered a sharply worded reprimand for Rep. Don Young on Friday, demanding the Alaska congressman apologize for using a racial epithet to characterize migrant workers.
Congressman Youngs remarks were offensive and beneath the dignity of the office he holds," Boehner said in a statement. "I dont care why he said it theres no excuse and it warrants an immediate apology.

The GOPers have been trying to do damage control with respect to how the Latino community views them (not well at all), and Young's remark was, shall we say, not helpful. So Boehner had to kick his butt for it.
