he's one of the only ones that clearly doesn't give a shit.

he literally can laugh at everything because he doesn't care what happens. it really is funny to him for that reason.

that's not being comic, that's being callous.

say what you will about Lewis Black, Bill Maher, Chris Rock, etc...their comedy comes in part from the fact that they do care and they see the lack of values of our society in case after case and it bothers them. their humor comes from pointing out the ridiculousness and the lack of morality surrounding that. their humor does NOT come from saying that it all doesn't matter so HAHAHAHA, like O'Rourke's does.
