(I watch FNC so you don't have to.)

They had some reptilian scummy woman from some "family PAC" on who claimed that someone contacted 30 PP clinics and was told that PP does not and has never provided mammograms or cancer screening and directed them to other agencies. Mind you, I know it's a lie and do you think the Fox plastic host of the hour called her on it?

No.

Huge PR disaster? Really?

I once read a study about customer service, where the researchers found a restaurant could expect 12 complaints for every compliment. Makes sense to me: the outraged will shriek. Thing is, for every negative internet comment, there were likely 12 people happy about the decision - they just didn't speak up.

Enjoy that echo chamber of yours.

the actual line is... "It is important to realize that organizations that are totally customer-focused do not just respond effectively to customer complaints; they actively seek them out. What specific activities does your organization utilize to provide customers with easy opportunities to register their dissatisfaction? Are these activities sufficient? Remember, research indicates that for every complaint expressed there are over 25 unregistered complaints. Many dissatisfied customers just quietly take their business elsewhere. Therefore, organizations that are truly committed to delivering Superior Customer Performance work hard at providing their customers opportunities to complain. What opportunities exist for your organization to more aggressively invite and receive customer complaints? No organization is so perfect in the delivery of Superior Customer Performance that significant levels of dissatisfaction (the source of complaints) do not exist. No news from customers regarding your performance is not necessarily good news"

They do screenings and breast exams and then, if need be, refer to facilities that actually offer mammograms. People complaining about this don't realize that I can't go to my GP and get a mammogram. I get a referral to a hospital usually and go there for my mammogram. So yeah, this is what they are getting their panties in a wad about.

but you do need an order for a mammogram in order to go to a facility to get one. That's what PP offers -- the medical providers who can authorize the mammogram.

This is such a bogus claim, that PP doesn't do mammograms. Neither does any doctor's office.

PP doesn't do mammograms...they give referrals for them and they are done elsewhere by trained professionals.

The administrative costs to keep a trained mammographer and radiologist on site would be a foolish decision.

But, technically, the RW swillage is correct...and using a thread of truth to shovel the shit in the mouths of the willing minions who in turn regurgitate the shit is what they are doing.
