An Easter Offering who Who Lump all Christians together as Intolerant Woo Worshipers

Obama attends Easter service; minister criticizes ‘captains of the religious right’

President Obama and the first family attended Easter Sunday worship at Saint John’s Church Lafayette Square, across the street from the White House, their most frequent religious venue while in Washington.

...

“You cannot go back,” Leon said, citing the words of Jesus. “It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back ... for blacks to be back in the back of the bus ... for women to be back in the kitchen ... for immigrants to be back on their side of the border.”

If you meant that sincerely, thanks.

If you meant it insincerely, thanks even more.

not theological ones but artistic ones. It's like Thomas Kinkade (I hate it, yet I am drawn to it.)

"Be fearless and pure; never waver in your determination
or your dedication to the spiritual life. Give freely. Be
self-controlled, sincere, truthful, loving, and full of the
desire to serve...Learn to be detached and to take joy
in renunciation. Do not get angry or harm any living
creature, but be compassionate and gentle; show good
will to all. Cultivate vigor, patience, will, purity; avoid
malice and pride. Then, you will achieve your destiny."
