Are there any living comics today who are in the same league as him or Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, etc.?

Serious question...Has anyone seen any comics today similar to them? I'd love to check them out.

Corporations would never give them air time.
It would be against their interests.
The airwaves belong to the very people comics like George, Bill, Richard and Lenny
exposed.

He also aired the censored bit in it's entirety. That's why I like Dave more than the rest.

I remember an interview with Carlin right before he died and that question was brought up and he highly praised Black and said that comedians like him were going to be his successor. You probably say Maher is but there's a lot of mixed opinions about that one.

His shaking-angry-guy thing sometimes gets on my nerves (only sometimes), but for the most part, I like him as a comic.

... what an excellent theme to use in exposing religious bigots and fanatical pro-lifers.

These are the dumb motherfuckers who think Mary could give birth to Jesus while still being a virgin. Doesn't that say it all?
