The Komen and Planned Parenthood funding argument on the news talk shows is an excercise in futility

The talking heads on MSNBC and CNN apparently have no sense of discernment. They have guests on there shows that continually say, "I don't want my tax payer dollars going to abortion" or "I'm donating to fight breast cancer not help abortion doctors."

Number one. I didn't want my tax dollars to go to the illegal war in Iraq or any other unnecessary war. If we each had the right to specifically say where our individual tax dollars 'can' and 'can't' be used the federal government would be even more of a bureaucratic behemoth than it is now. It would be chaotic. If these right wing tea bagging theocrats succeed in not wanting their money going to abortion then I do not want my money going to war, executions, private corporations or torture.

I have yet to hear a talking head with two brain cells to rub together make that argument. Either they want the right wing to win the argument or they have no sense of civics as to how taxes are allocated.

Number two. Regarding the Komen situation, the right wing is equating charity with taxes. They say because you are able to claim a deduction to charity on your taxes that means your tax dollars are going to abortion. One thing the right wing has down to a science is stretching credulity.

The right wing will not tell the public what they really want. What they really want is an end to domestic programs. And the churches want those tax dollars turned over to them to administer. Their theocratic faith based agenda is to still pay no taxes. But they believe that they should run employment programs and programs for the poor based on their religion. And they want that money with NO strings attached to how it is used.

Inconsistent and incoherent arguments are irrelevant to the RW and the fundynutzie churches. What matters is what THEY want. They could care a hoot about the country. They still view this nation as a Christian nation and would even commit murder to get it. These people are more dangerous than playing catch with a bottle of nitroglycerin. They may have lost the battle over Komen, but like snakes they will strike again at the first opportunity.

They are as committed to make this nation a Christian nation as the Nazis were to get rid of the Jews. And they are NOT Christian. They are simply bible selling businesses that has NOTHING to do with religion. They are no more than a neoNazi white surpremacist movement. And mormons are the worst of them in racism and bigotry.
