Look at snow - more snow in a day than is expected in the entire month of February. Six states are now under snow advisories.
Stay safe DUers!!

Must be about two-and-a-half feet on the ground ... at least.
Thank goodness I live in the south. I love snow, but that looks like much more than I can handle! Stay warm, everybody!

last time something like this happened was back in 83--at least we still have power and the streets
were plowed--Hancock handled this pretty well

(6,843 posts)We used to routinely get 3, 4, or 5 feet of snow from the dreaded Albuquerque Lows. We always though Denverites were a little soft.

Yep, we're pretty spoiled down here in upslope country. 4 out of 5 winters are not very bad at all.

(11,420 posts)we went all winter not seeing the pavement on the side streets. Yes we had temps in the 40's, 50' and 60's at times and we would sled on metal runner sleds in our t-shirts. Those days are gone. Winters here area fraction of what they used to be. I am amazed each year how many people think they don't need true snow tires and don't need to clear their windows to get around. If you're scared to dive in the snow stay the fuck home.
