Teenagers don't really care about politics, from what I remember. Most teenagers have nebulous political ideas, mostly what they've heard their parents talk about. They have no idea how the sausage is made and they don't care.

They care about passing their school subjects, being as popular as possible, flirting, and maybe they have some chaos at home too that draws their attention away from politics. Ordinarily I would say they also maybe have jobs, but these days it's unlikely for a teenager to have a job.

Teens have a lot going on in their lives. Politics are a low priority.

Now we know. The answer, apparently, is "No, they isn't."

I worried sick over my two stepsons learning and now that they've grown into good solid democrats I don't worry so much.
My almost 5 year old grand daughter is soaking up knowledge like a dry sponge, using words I didn't think she could even know the meanings of but she's using them in the right context so I think she knows what shes saying.

Hi bro'
peace

have some of those answers and alas, there are simply kids that have no desire to learn, just as we see with adults, just as we see in ALL cultures, countries and environments.

The contestants were college graduates, and they were too ignorant even to know what they didn't know.

It's real, and it's depressing as hell.
