FDA and Jeff Novitzky Drop Lance Armstrong Probe

(EDIT: Mis-spelled "Peloton&quot

Late Friday night, when nobody was looking, the FDA announced it was not pursuing charges against Lance for blood doping.

What do you guys and gals think?

My thoughts:

I am a huge Lance fan, even though I accept that he most likely used performance enhancing drugs. In one sense, I am happy he can go on with his life, because it would be too hypocritical to pursue him and not pursue the other eighty percent of the pelleton (PELOTON) that uses EPO and blood doping.

On the other hand, good cyclists and loyal team mates of Lance put their futures and lives on the line to tell the truth. They were whistleblowers who did the right thing, and now they are being left out to hang in the wind and dry.

There was no reward for those Lance team-mates who did come forward and tell the truth, and now they will never be vindicated.

So I have very mixed emotions about this.

What do you all think about this late Friday night suspicious dropping of any and all charges against Armstrong? At least, it seems very suspicious to me.
