Republicans keep talking about voter fraud...

but it's republicans committing fraud as can be seen by reading the article at the link. The Indiana Secretary of State was convicted of 6 of 7 charges of voter fraud. Though they are felonies, which by law would not allow him to hold elected office, his defense team will attempt to have them reduced to misdemeanors.

The judge says he should be replaced by the Democrat he so narrowly defeated for the seat, but Mitch Daniels wants to simply appoint one of his buddies to the position. That's why Daniels temporarily appointed the Republican Deputy Sec of State this week until the decision to reduce the charges are mitigated.

Obviously the judge isn't going to do that in such a blatent case of fraud for political gain, but Daniels is buying time to find a way to do whatever the hell he wants. As usual.

Now if the judicial branch will just go after that O'Keefe asshole who proved we need restrictive registration laws because he was able to get caught commiting voter fraud in several states, we'll be getting somewhere.

will only appoint someone in the interim in case the convictions are reduced to misdemeanors. the hypocrisy of the republicans is mind boggling.
