1. I've DVR'd UP since it started, and only watched selected segments...

But, I watched all 2 hours today... I'm hooked! Really smart discussion, plenty of time (not the 10 minute MSNBC segments I'm accustomed to), and great facilitation by Chris.

I'm officially on the bandwagon. Plus, I bought "How to be Black" and "The New Jim Crow" from iBooks already!

I didn't know it repeats... Thanks for the info!

2. The show got a little tense this morning. A couple of people on the panel were getting testy.

One panelist was annoyed with the author of the book "The Obamas." It passed without any further ado but it was interesting to watch the back and forth. It raised some issues about the book in my mind, that is, whether the author really presented Michelle Obama accurately and whether the money paid to the author (in 7 figures!) had any influence in how the author characterized her subject.

A good show...

3. the repeat is only an hour though, not the full two hours(?)

i wish chris had included the privatization issue in his prison segment. imo, he has the best political talk show on tv right now. i also prefer the format.
