There is no Rachel Maddow, Laurence O'donnell, Ed Schultz, or Chris Mathews. We likely will be without Eugene Robinson, Howard Fineman etc. too.
Michael Smerconish is the host.
Its still much better than MSNBC's usual weekend prison porn. And at least I'm not forced to watch FOX tonight for political coverage.

OP
Well that is a good lineup. I like Smerconish. It will be fine. I can't watch either CNN or FOX

They can add a lot.
See Bruce Bartlett too.

He must be union busting the way MSNBC schedules its weekend programing!
Thankfully, thats in the process of changing.

(4,667 posts)6. I would agree.
However, MSNBC is suppose to be "The Place For Politics!"
And heck, we only have these kinds of events once every 4 years.
Does Bob Costas take off weekends for the Olympics, with the understanding that that even though its a once every 4 year special event, he normally doesn't work weekends?

Sometimes Fineman has to steady Tweety when he suddenly talks so fast in Fluffian (Philadelphian) that he stutters!
