once I saw Rush Limbaugh picking his nose in Bob Kraft's skybox I started to root for the Giants.

complimentary about both Obama and Romney (and Bain--where he and his son worked, apparently). I did a google and found a transcript--I won't link because I don't like giving the shithead traffic and he didn't say anything of merit.

It was plainly a quid pro quo from that show, I'm guessing, Old Nosepicker's presence in the box. I wonder if Kraft's wife would have allowed it--I think maybe not. Who knows, though....

I have an odd attitude about major league sports. I think the whole spectacle is just so....expensive. There's no way anyone but a wealthy person can afford to actually go see a game. They might be able to afford to "attend" a game, but they would be so far up in the nosebleed section that it's impossible to see much of anything. If we regular people want to enjoy live sports contests, we either have to watch them on TV or go to local contests--semi-professional leagues or summer leagues.

I'm not going to get too broken up about the results, after all, to make it to the big game isn't bad--I'm just not looking forward to the kvetching I'll be hearing for the next week or so from the rabid Pats fans in my universe! We've got a few here who take it way too seriously!
