Gas prices to spike 60 cents or more by May

http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/energy/story/2012-02-02/gas-prices-soar-by-may/52978260/1

Get ready for another round of pain at the pump: $4 (or higher) gasoline.

After rising 19 cents a gallon in the past four weeks, regular unleaded gasoline now averages $3.48 a gallon, vs. $3.12 a year ago and $2.67 in February 2010.

Prices could spike another 60 cents or more by May. "I think it's going to be a chaotic spring, with huge price increases in some places," says Tom Kloza of the Oil Price Information Service. Kloza expects average prices to peak at $4.05, although he and other industry trackers say prices could be sharply higher in some markets.

Rising prices are an annual spring ritual, largely because of seasonal demand.

It's coming this summer.

Because American citizens are nothing but trade bait for Exxon Mobile or any other corporation able to buy votes on the Supreme Court.

Alternative fuels. Only when gas becomes so expensive that it is cost prohibitive will enough consumers finally stand up and demand other options.

And not a minute before.

most of last year. This election is going to be tough, with Iran, gas prices, Citizens United
and the European economy. Everything will have to go our way.

A choice between food on the table or gas in the tank to get to the minimum wage job?

The one-percent won't worry about that.

They probably cheer on higher gas prices.
