Has anyone heard that President Obama has cut combat pay? Please help me debunk. I can't verify it. Posted on a friends FB page.

Call bullshit and ask them for a credible link.

Also ask them why would he do it at all, much less in an election year. Point tout that pay cuts for the workers sounds like something a party calling for austerity would want.

Soldiers are, after all, government employees. Shouldn't they get pay cuts like teachers and other government employees? Shouldn't Republicans be cutting their jobs?
