...some parents introduce their kids to guns at too early an age comparing taking a child shooting and supervising them to what could possibly be a child soldier is not quite the same.

....for all I know that picture could have been taken in the US. But from my experiences overseas, I saw children that small manning checkpoints with their fathers holding on to AK's as tall as them. In hindsight I jumped to conclusions way too fast. I have no idea if that child is a soldier or not, but if the child was not, then I really wouldn't call it an atrocity, just dumb parenting. I do think some parents give their children access to guns at a way early age, hell I was 15 before my father took me target shooting, and that was after I had completed a gun safety course.

Hence, the poster you're responding to is likely pointing that out.

adults? Or is it the type of gun that they're using that makes one a child soldier and the other not? If that's the case, why are the gun nuts constantly telling us that AKs and ARs are just dandy for hunting or just good ol' fashioned gun shootin'?

I was about to post "now you've done it" but got distracted, and when I saw this come up again, I saw that your post got hidden. You've done it, indeed.
