in fact it's a policy

Time and Time again they choose to defend the child rapist instead of the victim

And yet they want to be treated with respect and as equals , no fucking way

Does the church deserve respect?

1. Tax The Catholic Church And Fundie Churches.

Since they now want to control the political process they should pay their "fair share" and pay full taxes on ALL their income.

The priests and bishops politically rape their congregations every day. They demand their congregations vote for the GOP because they are anti abortion. They do it by telling their followers that they will go to hell if they vote for a pro reproductive rights politician.

And they go out of their way to protect pedophile priests. In the early Church the clergy used to castrate choir boys so they would stay "tenors" when they reached puberty.

I was raised Catholic and I cannot believe I ever believed the garbage they teach.

2. My friend was raped at 11 year old

on her way home from Catholic school. Her parents weren't crazy. They did not want their little girl to get pregnant with a rapist's baby. She was given the then equivalent of morning after pills. Personally, I think forcing your minor daughter to have a rapist's baby is child abuse. No grown woman, let alone a child, should be forced to do that.

8. Fundie Religion Does Not Pass Smell Test

The fundie religion in the US is not religion at all. Any dimwit can get a bible and stand on a soapbox and talk gibberish. Elmer Gantr y religion is no more than a bible selling business. Most of these charlatan preachers like Olstein, Roberts, Copeland etc al are all millionaires many times over. They are selling prayers and messages to the ignorant. All they do if build their financial empire while they support subjugatings women and starving the most vulnerable.

On the other hand the Catholic Church is off the deep end. When it cooperates with the fundie nutzie churches it has lost any credibility. The Church will NOT openly preach economic justice and fairness. It will not criticize the business community for its massive wage theft policies. Yet it will order women to get pregnant and have children they cannot support.

Religion is a legitimate target. When religion becomes destructive and absurd you have the right to criticize it. Religion is the opiate of the people. It is used to control the ignorant public.
