Once this situation is reversed:
David Gorzynski is arrested and charged for felonies - his crime: carrying cardboard signs denouncing the banks.

Meanwhile not a single one of the top bankers in this nation has faced criminal charges carrying
any significant weight.
And Geithner peacefully retired from his post as Secretary of The Treasury; he will go on and manage a huge financial firm, when he should have been charged years ago with RICO violations for the manipulation of the banking situation that he handled while he was heading New York Fed, Autumn 2008

(146,245 posts)the current situation in Congress will continue. If that's what you want, let your excitement continue to wane. If you'd rather have some progress after 2014, then get excited.

(11,481 posts)How can anyone expect "excitement" from someone when the politicians he or she votes for continue to disappoint and support policies that destroy him/her economically? I can vaguely see the "lesser of two evils" argument, although the "lesser" seems to becoming more and more evil with every election cycle, but to get excited by voting for evil just because the other guy is MORE evil? Pragmatically? Sure, I see the point. Excited about it? Not so much.

(32,324 posts)Now not so much. He needed some 965 more names on the petition to reach his goal of 16,000 signatures, that his charges be dropped an no felonies remain charged against him.
Unfortunately, now the petition is closed.
