march on DC with loaded guns (holy shit)

A gun activist is planning a massive march on D.C., with participants' rifles illegally slung over their shoulders

Libertarian activist and radio host Adam Kokesh is hoping to get 1,000 people to march on Washington on July 4 — armed with loaded rifles. The plan, launched with a Facebook group today, is to gather on the Virginia side of the Potomac, where gun laws are lax, and then march across the bridge with loaded rifles slung over their shoulders into the District, where openly carrying weapons is generally prohibited.

“This will be a non-violent event,” the Facebook group warns, “unless the government chooses to make it violent.” Already, over 200 people have said they’ll attend the march. Here’s the message:

On the morning of July 4, 2013, Independence Day, we will muster at the National Cemetery & at noon we will step off to march across the Memorial Bridge, down Independence Avenue, around the Capitol, the Supreme Court, & the White House, then peacefully return to Virginia across the Memorial Bridge. This is an act of civil disobedience, not a permitted event. We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny. We are marching to mark the high water mark of government & to turn the tide. This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back, having shown that free people are not welcome in Washington, & returning with the resolve that the politicians, bureaucrats, & enforcers of the federal government will not be welcome in the land of the free.

Kokesh is a former Marine who was discharged in 2007 after violating the military’s code against engaging in political activity while in uniform. Kokesh was highly active in the antiwar movement after serving in Iraq, participating in numerous protests and getting arrested on occasion.

74. Ghostbuster's slime recipe
Wed May 15, 2013, 07:47 AM
May 2013
Ingredients:
Elmer's white glue.
Borax The 20 Mule Team brand, do not use laundry detergent containing borax.
Water.
Measuring spoons, 2 mixing bowls, and food coloring.

Mix 2 tablespoons full of white glue with an equal amount of water and add a couple of drops of food coloring such as green or red. In the other bowl, stir 2 table spoons full of Borax in 1 pint of water and stir well to dissolve as much as possible.

While stirring the glue-water mixture in the first bowl, pour in 2 teaspoonsfuls of Borax solution and keep stirring until the slime takes on an even consistency.

Within seconds of adding Borax solution, the glue-water mixture should begin to firm up into a goopy ectoplasmic gel! Once the ingredients are well mixed, you can take the slime out of the bowl and play with it. "Or perform paranormal experiments." - Richard

Warnings:

Remember, this stuff is made of glue, and if it dries, it will harden in clothing and carpets.
Under any circumstances, DO NOT eat your slime! Or feed it to your little brothers and sisters! Or let your pets taste it! Should you or someone you know consume this slime, call your local poison control center.
If you have a poisoning emergency, call 1-800-222-1222.

Important Safety Tip!

Keep slime away from toasters, some kind of rodent, and very large monuments who like Jackie Wilson.

http://www.ghostbustersinternational.com/makeslime.htm

Rather than make that, I'd mix Jello mix with boiling water, maybe adding extra gelatin to make it thicker at room temperature, and not chill it, just let it cool. That wouldn't be toxic, the coloring is already in it (and can be a permanent dye depending on which color and what fabrics it contacts), and BEST OF ALL, the sugar in it would attract insects. Think of being covered in sticky, sweet stuff in July in DC - flies, bees and other bugs will be all over them!

DC MPD Chief Lanier has already said she'll arrest them for felony violation of Firearms Control Regulation Act of 1975 one step into the District. It's illegal to open or concealed carry in DC unless you're law enforcement and we do not have a peaceable journey law.

They may be gun-rights protestors but how many of them are realistically going to risk a felony conviction that revokes their RKBA?
