The GOP House is completely dysfunctional...

Maybe if they finally dumped the Teabaggers into the ocean...

The plots Republicans laid against President Obama in 2008 have created a lot of turmoil, civil unrest, and obstruction—but they didn’t bring down the President. Instead, some four years later, those plots are turning on the Party, according to numerous inside sources who spoke to Politico.

The GOP leadership is dealing with an unprecedented level of frustration in running the House, according to conversations with more than a dozen aides and lawmakers in and around leadership. Leadership is talking past each other. The conference is split by warring factions. And influential outside groups are fighting them.

Yes, you knew the Republican House was a divided, chaotic mess of dysfunction. But it’s impossible to overstate just how dysfunctional it is. We’ve seen it in action, from outside conservative groups threatening Republican lawmakers over the budget to Boehner having to pull his own bills.

They do more damage when they ARE working. Of course, we haven't seen THAT situation in a long time.

If they worked for me, they would have been fired a long time ago. What company would let them get by with this? Why are we?

We need to shame them into cooperating. Otherwise, why can't they be charged with treason or some such? They have interrupted the operation of our country for the last 3-4 years (after they ruined it under 8 years of Bush).

We should NOT stand for it. What are we? A bunch of wusses?

2. They ultimately will need to rotate small groups of Rs voting with the Ds to get things done

I don't think the Teabaggers care if they vote against Democratic or Republican legislation. They simply want to be able to vote No for bills they are against and I don't think they truly care if they pass. Boehner can then find 30-50 Repubs in safe or moderate districts that be rotated in and out of coalitions with the Dems to pass legislation like immigration reform or maybe even some sort of budget compromise. The extremists can then continue to scream out against Washington and the Boehner can say he helped pass bills.
