Katherine Russell, Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s Widow, Wants Nothing To Do With His Corpse

Lee Harvey Oswald, Timothy McVeigh and Ted Bundy, all needed burying. Now it’s Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s turn, reports Michael Daly.

Katherine Russell was devoted enough to Tamerlan Tsarnaev to convert to his religion when he was a champion boxer, but she declined to claim his body as he lay in the coroner’s office after becoming a terrorist bomber.

She instead released the remains to an uncle of Tamerlan's who had very publicly declared that his nephew had fully merited his violent death.

“He deserved this,” the uncle, Russian Tsarni, had announced to reporters.

Tsarni included Tamerlan’s still living brother, Dzkhokhar, in his judgment.

The man is dead. What's left should be disposed of in an unoffensive way. What do they (the segment of the public who are decrying the disposition of his body) WANT to happen? This????

They cut the bodies down from the roof, laid them in the street where people urinated on them. Is THAT what they want?

...should be ashamed of themselves. Deeply ashamed. I'm sure the same people were (rightfully) offended when the Somalis dragged US Servicemen thru the streets of Mogadishu. Or when the Iranians displayed the charred remains of US Servicemen after the failed Operation Eagle Claw.

They have given a dead person great power...one that Tamerlan never expected.

5. Has anyone considered that this woman was married to a man who was arrested for

domestic violence? I wonder about her and her conversion and refuse to say more about her until facts are known. She married a monster, but that doesn't mean she is one also. I'm not certain of the point of this article.

What if this guy got remorseful and ask God to forgive him right at the last minute and ZAP, you are forgiven my child. And when all these other God fearing people die this dude is sittin up there too???? Just sayin

10. McVeigh and Bundy

were burned and scattered when their families disowned. This is what happens to the unwanted criminally insane. Oswald resides in a grave in Texas where visitors are discouraged. Hitler's ashes finally got distributed in some unmarked wooded area in Germany.

If they want to bury him, maybe Uncle would pay for the sea burial option? It will be hard to find a cemetery. They would fear both "fans" showing up or desecration.

It seems primitive to exact revenge on a dead body. Let the family bury him in an Islamic way and move on. He's paid the price.
