If you could read his mind....?

He stood arrogantly upon the stage, celebrating his primary victory over his vanquished opponents. There was no talk of the Appalachian Trail. He knew his supporters were forgiving people. After all, many were southern evangelicals. Forgiveness is a deep part of their religion.

And he knew he could play upon that weakness. After all, look at what Bill Clinton did? Unspoken was the opinion that they are picking on him just because he is a Republican.

He lied to his supporters. He spent taxpayer money on his little rendevous with his little Argentine mistress. He had little respect for the voters of his state.

Then, on the night he was to give his victory speech, lo and behold who was standing beside him? That's right! The love of his life. And he just knew his supporters were too ignorant to care...

abscond the states money and take off to South America...this guy did. And he did it in secret, telling no one that he was leaving the state he was supposed to be governing.
