I think he may turn out to be the justice who cares the most about animal welfare.

I'm not making any broader comment, but believe it or not, the above is very likely to be true.

I do know that in this country the law treats corporations, which are instruments of commerce, like people, and we treat animals, who are living, breathing, soulful creatures, as instruments of commerce.

Now that is fucked up.
