3 shot at Richardson, TX train station. Gunman dead.

Three people were shot and the gunman is dead after a shooting at DART's Arapaho Center station Tuesday afternoon.

Officials said a passenger got into an exchange of gunfire with a DART officer after an altercation with a bus driver in Richardson.

According to Richardson police, the passenger and bus driver argued over the validity of a bus pass. When the bus driver stopped at the Arapaho Center station, the driver left the bus and informed a DART officer about the incident. When the passenger saw the driver talking to the officer, he got off of the bus and headed for the train platform.

When the officer approached that passenger on the platform, the passenger pulled out a gun and started firing, officials said.

Sounds like the DART officer was saved by her bullet proof vest...one bullet hit her there, the other hit her arm.
