Am I out of my mind?

I would like to see this bill to pass Minn’s senate and signed into law.
My God, maybe then ,will the average American working person in Minn. begin to really get pissed.
I mean really pissed and hit the streets....Dem Gov. would never sign. However might he not be
overridden?
When will the common guy and girl who don’t follow politics, finally have enough of the Repubs. madness?

Trying to take their overtime pay away would be a great beginning!

We almost got to hope for that moment, because 25% of the population will obstruct anything
which is good for mankind. They are ready to die and are looking forward to the apocalypse.
Climate change in their minds is retribution from God.

I’m loosing hope here!!

I think as long as there is the general perception that Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin, those who feel apathy will continue to do so. Look at the loyalty of the New Deal generation for over 50 years when the politicians actually help the people.

In my darker moments I think along the same lines. Death by a thousand cuts is insidious. Let the cons go for the carotid. Maybe that'll light an eye-opening fire under people's asses.

Until I came to realize how much people will take before they will act.

Hunger. Nothing less.

They'll act, sometimes, but not necessarily rationally or in their own self interest. Tell someone "You lost your job and home because of unions!" and they will buy it. They'll believe anyone who offers an answer, even if the answer is absurd. Even the ludicrous answer is better than no answer at all.
