You can see his temper on display when anyone disagrees with him. He's such a mean, pompous, arrogant ass.
Hey Joe...has your temper and anger ever landed you in big trouble?

They usually repeat the first 20 minutes of their show at 5 am (PDT), so I'll really be paying attention to that exchange and watch Mika try to reel him in. Thanks!

it was the segment where Wolfe got on a bit of a tear and was very mocking of Joe's talking points. He didn't seem to care what Joe thought as Joe sought to interrupt and Wolfe wouldn't let him...that's when Mika piped up...but Joe continued on anyway.

I must say I thought it was a fun moment. Even apologist Lisa Myers couldn't really help him.

Interesting how Mika turned to him and quietly said, "Joe...". Her tone and demeanor reminded me of how a spouse or parent would correct their husband or child when they're misbehaving. (NOT as you would expect a co-host on a TV show! hmmmmm... )
He DID look admonished!

I just saw it again in their 8 am replay of the 6 am segment. Iusually don't bother with replays but this was just too good. I don't think Joe was expecting the pushback he got from several guests. Maybe he just assumed they would all be bobbleheads. I was surprised that Donny D. was so squishy, but he's a mental midget, so...

Thanks I will check it out.

I never watch that show.

It makes me ill.

Why it is considered left wing media is beyond me.

I see little difference between Morning Joe and the majority of Fox 'news' programs.

I don't think it was the Richard Wolff I was thinking of, but I still want to see Joe taken down a peg or two.

MJ has interesting people on the show. I mute the ones that make me ill or I simply turn the set off and head for the shower. I only take what I want. Sometimes I want to hear the talking points of the other side, which Joe generally supplies, so I know the parameters of the issue du jour. Joe usually has the other side represented and/or like today when he had pushback from some of his regular guests telling him he's wrong.

Tomorrow they'll have Rep. Cummings on the show and that should be great. I just saw the clip of his remarks at the hearing yesterday. He was terrific! He didn't attack Hicks or the others testifying. He attacked Issa and his politicization of the issue. So I'm definintely going to watch him on tomorrow's show.

Diplomatic service CAN be dangerous
Diplomats KNOW this BEFORE they accept an assignment
ANYONE should have realized that 9-11 will always have "significance" to "that part of the world"...(to the ones who wish us harm, and want us OUT of their country)

I am not saying that the deaths were caused by the diplomats, BUT a better plan would be to have as many as possible perhaps attend a "seminar" in ...maybe Italy...or Spain..or anywhere NOT in that region, for that 9-11 timeframe.. Leave the outposts to the locals who assist the diplomats.

Traveling around the country at that time was a risky thing to do, protests or no protests.

Diplomacy is always hit and miss at best, and deadly sometimes.

As for Hicks....he sought out republican congresspeople because he knew they would give him a political platform for his angst..

He deliberately dragged raw meat around, and of course the junkyard dogs followed him home. He was insubordinate, since he did not follow proper channels.

Maybe he thought no one would hear him out..

He chose his own path, and sometimes demotions come along with "independent" choices like he made.

Maybe he was nursing a blow to his pride somewhere in the course of his career...I often see people engage in virtual witch hunts against their superiors for the pettiest of reasons. Then they vow "payback" and hold their grudge for years, letting it fester until it boils over.

...this non-story has taken on mythical proportions among the great unhinged. They're sure that President Obama and Hillary Clinton PERSONALLY issued the orders to kill Amb. Stevens and the rest. They're as sure as Vince Foster. The more it's denied, the more proof there is that something is being hidden...the more the principal targets ignore, the more there must be some kind of cover-up. It's self perpetuating...and anything short of impeachment and imprisonment is a valid response.

Of course the big irony here is these are the same shitstains that believed Iraq = 9/11...Joey even claimed this morning that the Iraq invasion was "justified"...the stupid burns strong in that one. Of course none of these fukticks would ever support a real investigation into the worst foreign affairs disaster of all of our lifetimes...Iraq.

Some nonsensical remark about people who opposed the Iraq war at the outset without knowing all the facts.
I mean, weren't those the people who turned out to be right?

I'm positive the show's producer flips a coin between breaks and heads/tails determines if Joe is for or against whatever topic is next in line.

The only other thing that explains his inconsistent stands on various issues is that he's just drunk off his bean.

Did he have an agenda? Wasn't he second in command in Libya, next to the Ambassador? He said he got a call from the Ambassador saying that "they were being attacked". What did he do once he got that call? Being second in command, what responsibility did he have? Did he even call the Secretary of State or anyone at the State Dept? Just curious?

Also, did anyone pick up Gregory's comment after announcing who was going to be on MTP on Sunday? He told Scarborough something to the effect that "I'm going to stay on top of it, Joe"? Did anyone see that?
