Cheney: I Would Probably Not Testify Before Congress, Even If Subpoenaed

.....on ABC, George Stephanopoulos asked Vice President Cheney if he would testify before Congress if he was subpoenaed. Cheney said probably not in the sense at that vice president and president and constitutional officers dont appear before the Congress.

(6,336 posts)They found a heart back in April 2012 that was small enough to fit in the tiny little place where his was. Probably got it from a mouse or something.
I shook hands with him in a receiving line while he was on the pump. Weird. Chit in all his suit pockets with tubes connecting everything. Really did look like Dearth Vader. I don't know if it was real or projected but shaking hands felt really weird - almost like being able to feel there was no pulse in the grip.
It was...what's the word I'm looking for...ahhhh...weird. Yep, that's it.

I once had a customer whose father was dying. She said he wouldn't close his eyes because he was afraid he'd die and the devil would come to get him for being so mean to her mother.
I can see Cheney thinking the same.

(51,076 posts)We may be stuck with him for a long time yet. I hope that he lives long enough to see the dock at the Hague. I realize that isn't going to happen any time soon but there is no time limit on some of his crimes
