Possible active shooter arrested in vicinity of SMU campus
Just got off the phone with my brother who works at SMU - he's fine, and so is his wife who also works on campus.
Lots of conflicting information as to whether or not the man was armed or not, but he did apparently phone in a threat to cops regarding SMU and was apparently suicidal. Campus was put on lockdown, but the suspect is now in police custody, and the lockdown has been lifted. No injuries reported so far, and I hope it stays that way.
