The Tea Party and Tax Revolt

Is is possible that the extra scrutiny of the Tea Party groups is related to the fact that "Sovereign Individuals" who don't think they need to pay taxes are apt to align themselves with the Tea Party?

but I was under the impression that these 'sovereign individuals' were already in the teabagger camp.
