Democrats are bought off too, don't believe that all of that lobbiest money doesn't affect them too! The spend so much time raising money for re-election that could be used to learn about the Bills that they vote on. While we fight Democrat vs. Republican, the corporations and he 1% laugh all the way to the bank, wait, they are the Bank!

(149,523 posts)4. We do need CCFR, but given the circumstances now, it's unlikely.
There are a couple of states (I think) that have it now, and it was hard-fought.
I don't honestly see a way out of this problem.

Party functionaries have been trying to co-opt the Occupy name for a long time. This seems like something in that vein.
