One (or perhaps more) of them will get offers for a lot of money from a fundy TV evangelist like Pat Robertson.

They'll use that girl (or girls) not sexually, but for their "pro-life" propaganda, and for their "Jay-zus heard our prayers for help!"

Not to mention all the entreaties for cash from the preacher to his flock he's fleecing...

and it's a good reminder for us to send good vibes to these women to be strong.

the trial and media are going to be a relentless horror for them. the defense will fight saying the women wanted to stay and that they each had a special relationship with the pig & could have left at any time and that they willingly got in the perps car...it will be ugly.

i hope he admits to guilt, makes a plea, and waives a trial.

but it's also important to remember they are older now which makes what the OP is saying less likely to happen. and even if they were still very young like elizabeth smart was when found at the time she didn't turn to wingnuts like robertson. and elizabeth smart came from a religious family where she said some of the teachings made her feel ashamed. but look how she has turned out.
