The first one was brilliant. One question it raised in my mind was what would happen if the same experiment were done on men. My guess was that some men would exhibit the same tendency as the women, of having an unrealistically negative view of their appearance, but that at least some would be unrealistic in the other direction.
Instead of making this one-joke clip, Dove should have put the same amount of effort into doing the experiment for real, so we could compare the different socializations of women and men.
