To my mom

it's been four years this month. A lot of my heroes have come to break bread with you. I hope your spirit is at peace, because you were a good soul. I miss visiting, I miss your attempts at cooking, I miss your conversations about politics and the Yankees. I hope I get close to 92, but you were never sick till the end. I hope I have some of your great genes.

I'm glad you were proud of me.

To Mom, I miss ya.

Your son

You held my hand
You fed and housed me
You taught me right from wrong
I miss you
