Memory lane: Non-profit group ACORN targeted by GOP

The non-profit ACORN says it is non-partisan, but its membership skews low-income and non-white, demographics more likely to support Obama. The group, with branches in Chicago and nationwide, has long been involved in efforts to combat redlining and push lenders to make quality mortgage loans in poor communities.

I sincerely wish Democrats in the media and even on DU would begin to point that out.
