It's hard to tell if it's hurting or is just in 'tough guy' stalking mode. I bet he/she won't go after lizards outside in the future!

Edit to add: I watched this again on you tube full screen, and you can see that kitten has a collar or something around it's neck, that has gotten pushed back behind his right 'elbow'. So I think that's why it's walking in a weird way.

....but the kitten's reaction seems to me to be to the harness it has on, and not so much the "dragon." Suppose someone put some type of electrical shocking device on the harness, and got the "reaction" they wanted, in order to put it on You Tube. Cruel, and possible. And NOT CUTE.

He yowled in pain, looking right at the iguanas. He wasn't afraid of them, he stalked them. Someone applied an electrical shock. Should be reported to the Humane Society. I have as good a sense of humor as the next person, and I love animals and have a houseful of four-legged kids, but that was a manipulated situation if ever there was one. And I HATE bullies, especially those that pick on defenseless people and animals. Shame on whoever did that.

The cat is definitely wearing something, but it may just be a collar.

While the cat is flipping around on the floor, I don't hear anything hard hitting the floor, such as a housing for an electronic device.

Even if powered by a stack of small batteries, a remote control shock device is going to have a rigid housing which would be obvious on an animal that small.

I see a strap, but no indication that it has anything on it.

...but I've seen so many miniaturized electronic devices used in training collars lately, that it seems possible. The kitten's reaction isn't normal, and the weird straps restricting it's normal walking gait make me VERY suspicious. If the kitten were going to freak out like that NORMALLY, I doubt he would have been so bold as to be curious, follow, and bat at the iguanas. And cats that are startled WILL leap and twist like that...but the iguanas never touched him, and he's DEFINATELY yowling in pain.

...and remember this is a very small kitten.

The point of "shock collars" is not to induce pain, but to apply transcutaneous nerve stimulation to briefly flex the neck muscles, as a collar would. If you think about a kitten's neck - I'd be surprised if there are any with electrodes that close together.

It's possible, it just doesn't seem likely. Kittens are prone to spazzing out.

I do have a lifetime of experience with cats, and a surprised cat can do any number of gravity-defying twists and turns and gyrations and contortions.......but I've never heard them SCREAM in pain from s u r p r i s e ......only from painful stimuli. If the kitten had just jumped and leaped onto a chair or somehow gotten away from what "scared" it, I could understand that. But the kitten is in PAIN. And that strap serves NO useful purpose......why is that strap there? It's not a usual configuration for a harness, and it restricts the kitten's movement. He walks awkwardly.

Something just isn't right there. Something defies logic.....and normal experience.

( unlike dog harnesses ) as cats are notorious for hating any restrictions to their movements. Watch the movement of the kitten's front right leg, especially near it's chest and shoulder. Movement is very restricted, almost painful....like something is jabbing into it's chest. Kitten ignores whatever is restricting its movement, because it's so fascinated with the critters. Kitten is aware of the iguanas, not overly frightened. I still think he is receiving a painful shock. Reminds me of the rodeo practice of tying straps around the sensitive area near the haunches and rumps of bulls and horses, and applying shocks, or painful barbs, to make them buck and jump.

Maybe I find it impossible to believe that someone would put their kitten on the floor with a couple of chameleons, let them interact with one another, shock the kitten for no good reason and have their little kids laugh like mad. I suppose it's possible but I don't see enough evidence to get me to believe such a terrible thing.

I certainly didn't expect that fit.
Now, if they knew that kitten was very skittish, it was cruel.
The lizard could have easily stayed in one place while the kitten stalked the other.

slamming into a wall running from something on a hardwood floor.

Looks like this kittie is OK, through.

Cute kittie.

Connie is walking on the floor. Gecko comes out from under the sofa, they stare at each other for thirty seconds, conure screeches, gecko hisses, they both turn tail and run from each other.

I wish I had video taped it. Connie was a nervous mess for an hour.
