or senators are given access to that sort of information, all joking aside. The Clintons tried to get involved in that and got shut down, indirectly threatened with assassination, etc.

This is the best bit that Letterman has ever had. He embarrasses politicians every night for their lack of listening to their constituencies, their stupidity and their hypocrisy.

Hope he keeps it going forever.
