Abercrombie and Fitch is punk'd by my newest hero, who gives their clothes to the homeless!

He even makes sure to get them at thrift shops, so A&F doesn't get any money. So much for "the look"!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/14/abercrombie-and-fitch-homeless-brand-readjustment_n_3272498.html

In response to Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries not wanting "not so cool" kids or women who wear size large to wear his company's clothes, Greg Karber has come up with a funny and creative way to readjust the Abercrombie & Fitch brand.

He's giving their clothes to the homeless.

After scouring his local thrift shop's "douchebag section," Karber heads to LA's Skid Row to dole out the clothes among the homeless population. Watch the stunt and find out how you can be involved in one man's troll-job on a company with some pretty unflattering business practices in the video above.

"Douchebag section" FTW!!

...I feel like any company should certainly be able to control the perception of its brand.

Don't want fatties wearing your clothes?
You have the right to not make clothes in fattie sizes.

However, on the other hand, you may have to take some lumps for doing so.
And sometimes they will be big and pretty creative lumps at that.

You may want your brand to appeal only to douchebags.
But then, of course, your customers may be pointed out in the marketplace of ideas as being douchebags.
Which may then harm your brand.

And so it goes...

and then provide transportation to the stores. That way, they could pick out the clothing they wanted for themselves, right there in the store, and the nice folks working in the store can assist them with their choices.

Yes, indeed...gift cards.

I think it would be a wonderful opportunity all around, so I fleshed it out a bit and posted it separately.

Being "between dwellings" is tough enough without people thinking you shop at Abercrombie and Fitch. Might cause others to look down on you.

because I've always been too homely and uncool to shop there. I bet they wouldn't sell to me. Or even speak to me. However, if I see any of their stuff at a Goodwill or secondhand shop, I'll be sure to buy it and give it to someone who wouldn't qualify as a A&F shopper...

Think of the most uncool people on the planet (Darth Cheney, Kim Jong Boo Boo, etc.) and 'Shop 'em into A&F clothes!
